On Tuesday evening May 31, 2016 at a special 6:00 p.m. mass at St. Paul’s Church in Ithaca, 65 participants in the 33 Days To Morning Glory program consecrated their lives to Jesus through His mother Mary. This Marian Consecration occurred fittingly on the feast of the Visitation when the angel asked Mary to commit her life to Jesus by becoming the mother of God. The Consecration Mass concluded a six week program conducted at St. Paul, St. Martin, St. Joseph, and St. Mary of Alma churches. Fr. Andrezj from St. Paul’s parish and Fr. Nate from Nativity of the Lord Parish were co-celebrants of this beautiful and inspirational ceremony.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the St. Paul Parish Center which was attended by the newly consecrated participants and their family and friends. Special guest Keri, from the Marian Center in Petosky, Michigan provided brief congratulatory remarks on behalf of the Marian Center.
A special “thank you” to Patrice Hornak and Jack Raducha for proving the pictures used.
